Even 100 years ago or more.. the US has had pockets of French, Dutch, Germans, Russians, Poles.. and even Chinese.. apart from Blacks.. long before @sgurumurthy was born.. So stop peddling nonsense..
As for Non Hispanic Whites, America has continously allowed migrants from Latin Am. Spanish has been informally a common language in the US even in govt forms & the 2nd most spoken. Stop bellowing bec you see some demographics out of context.. @sgurumurthy
