A few days ago, someone was speaking about enacting a one child policy, to which i responded and asked if she knew the implications of that for a 3rd world country like Nigeria. While i understand her sentiments, i disagreed with what she saw as the problem.

Don't be fooled by anyone, Nigeria's population is bloated and we are not 180m as the last estimate concluded. The problem is wasteful waste.

The population census of Nigeria has always been a political act. The one in 1962 was so incongruous, another one was ordered in 1963.
There was another 1991 estimated the population to be 97.73m another census was held in 2006 which estimated the population to have grown to 142.6 million a difference of 44.87m in 15 years. If we further broke the population down by geographical zones. We'll realise population

AS we are all focused and arguing over the choice between @atiku and @MBuhari and following needless cat and mouse game over budget for #NigeriaDecides2019 NASS finally had the brainwave to divert N242.24bn (via virement) from existing budgets to fund 2019 elections.
Guess what budgets our dear overpaid #NASS led by @bukolasaraki choose to cut? Agriculture N11bn. HEALTH N8.05bn. EDUCATION N10.2bn. Works (roads included), Power and Housing N25.5bn. Science & Tech - N7.46bn. Water Resources - N12.95bn and more. Budget trackers went DEAF n BLIND
.@bukolasaraki and his cabal in #NASS claims these cuts were agreed on with the Presidency. This is a clever by half claim for those who forget how the @inecnigeria budget became a convenient weapon and was endlessly delayed by NASS. Weponised delay. saharareporters.com/2018/08/18/n18…

It is great that most parties have now identified their flag bearers for the 2019 Presidential Election. In that vain, I'd love to congratulate President @MBuhari of the @OfficialAPCNg, and @atiku of the @OfficialPDPNig as the two major contenders.
The debate is expected to be issue-based, and void of unnecessary propaganda (hopefully) from both camps.

One of such issues is that of #Restructuring which appears to be a major part of @atiku's campaign of which, I am of the view, should be addressed.
#Restructuring, as an issue, is not new. Actually, it was a major part of the campaign of the @OfficialAPCNg back in 2014/15. Atiku was a member of the APC at the time.
