Re: TTF, prices roughly back where they were post-Dec '21 spike, and the entire curve has consolidated here. If EU industrial activity accelerates, that's constructive for both met and thermal #coal. 2/x
ARA (EU-delivered) thermal #coal prices already mimicking TTF consolidation. While we aren't getting another big spike to $300+ we are def not headed to $100 immediately with TTF at $60-80...think we're at $180-200 for most of winter. 3/x

I'm organising addressing @NewcastleCC about the reprehensible decision to allow the entire Council Tax department to work remotely and process every taxpayers private data in staff's unsecured and unsupervised homes. This has happened with no public consultation #Newcastle
Currently they are trying to get me to accept a written statement that will not be a matter of public record. Not a chance. I will address the council publicly in the chamber. Every resident's personal information is currently at risk and they aren't even aware
Pandemic or not, we have been forced to accept an unacceptable risk to our private and financial data that no amount of keylogging or firewalls can prevent. The main flaw in any and all data security is the human element. Unsupervised staff can and do steal and sell data.
Thank you Dan, once again you’ve explained with absolute clarity one of the most significant failings of @10DowningStreet ‘s catastrophic #COVID19UK management.

Following yesterday's violence it is important to say that no #Newcastle statues are targeted by anti racist protesters, who seek to eliminate racism not stone statues. But yday our police were targeted by anti anti-racism protesters in scenes which would disgrace any movement
Newcastle has always fought for social justice & been on the right side of history on so many great issues from Trade Unionism, to the Great Reform Bill, the Suffragettes, Civil Rights in US & South Africa to the Miners Strike. Surely we can be on the right side in this debate!

We are so lucky in #Newcastle to have such fantastic #NHS hospitals, clinics & GP services with so many dedicated staff making sacrifices all the time to keep us healthy & make us better, I want to express my thanks to all of them at this difficult time @NHSMillion
We have to do all we can to help them to help us & right now that means following the public health advice, whatever your age, #StayAtHome #WashYourHands #HelpEachOther
And we are also really lucky to have our fantastic #ToonMoor & so many parks across the city. I cycle & run in them regularly. Whilst some of us can still use them safely, not everyone is doing so. We need to maintain 2m distance at ALL times.
