Over the next week I will be recapping my overall thoughts on what every team did in the 2022 #NFLDraft.

Today I will start with the NFC West and cover the @AZCardinals, @RamsNFL, @49ers and @Seahawks
the @AZCardinals recap

2 (55) TE Trey McBride
3 (87) EDGE Cam Thomas
3 (100) Edge Myjai Sanders
6 (201) RB Keaontay Ingram
6 (215) OG Lecitus Smith
7 (244) CB Christian Matthew
7 (256) LB Jesse Luketa
7 (257) OG Marquis Hayes

fav pick: Thomas
value pick: Luketa
? pick: McBride
draft haul has to include trading for M Brown giving them explosive speed WR they need with loss of Kirk & suspension of Nuk. I think they had more pressing needs than TE after giving Ertz a new 3 yr deal. Think Thomas can become starter & Luketa could have went early 4th

94.01/ Week ninety-four, April 30-May 6, 2022, thread begins here.

Week 93 below.
94.02/ Health update: still no symptoms from my bout with COVID except for general irritability but it's impossible to know if it's different from my normal state. Isolation is lonely (big, if true) but my overall emotion is fear of making someone else sick. Dread is the worst.
94.03/ I see the #Mets won (this is a fun season so far, especially since I'm not the one getting hit by fastballs in the head) and the #NYR won and are ready for the playoffs. Best of all is post-#NFLDraft Sat. night when I get to see all the gifts my team gave me as a fan. #LGM

Little thread on why teams without a big need at QB may want to draft a QB like Malik Willis or Sam Howell at this point in the #NFLDraft
A fair probability of a current era QB becoming a Pro Bowl player in this range of the draft is 8.8%. However the average win share for a Pro Bowl QB is 5.34

Meaning a QB has an expected win share of 0.47 (8.8% * 5.34 win share)
Take that number compared to drafting a Pro Bowl LB (not edge rusher), which has a 23.4% probability at this point in the draft.

Win Share for a Pro Bowl LB is 1.14, giving that pick an expected win share value of 0.27 (23.4% * 1.14 win share).

3/? Image

Kenny Pickett played in 22 games from 2020-2021. Below I'll provide clips from almost every game highlighting positives and negatives about Pickett as a prospect.

Here we go ⬇️
#NFLDraft #NFL
2020 was Pickett's 3rd year as a starter. After watching it back, I'm not surprised he exploded in 2021.

You can tell he was on the verge with a number of plays he made in 2020. Let's dive in ⬇️
Pickett can be really effective in zone read. He has sneaky speed.

I watched back 17 full games from Willis' '20-'21 seasons along with critical plays from several other games.

This thread highlights dozens of plays that stood out both positively and negatively in order.

Here we go⬇️
#NFLDraft #NFL
Willis 2nd throw as a starter is a perfect back shoulder ball to #81. Immediately you see his ability to really drive the ball.
3rd & 7. The slot curl is open for a 1st but Willis gets antsy in the pocket.

Granted, it's his first start and he does still manage to pickup the 1st down. The first of 44 3rd downs he'll convert with his legs over the next 23 games.

There's NO SHOT that there's 4 or 5 franchise QBs in this draft. Lawrence and Fields would be my choices. I have Fields as ROTY if he ends up on a good team or NE.

🚨30 Days, 30 Prospects🚨

#14 - Javonte Williams, RB, UNC

Some people have him as the RB1 in this #NFLDraft while others have him just outside of the top tier, but nearly all agree that Williams is a great prospect and ready for the NFL. Check out why.⬇️
At 5' 9.5" and 212lbs, Williams looks like a bruiser out on the field, but don't mistake him for being only a power back. Williams has good burst and speed to reach the second level and create chunk plays, he can also split defenders and beat linebackers to the edge.
Yards After Contact. Williams eats these on top of his Cheerios in the morning. He hardly ever goes down at first contact and is always gaining the hard extra yards. He led the nation with 75 missed tacklers forced and averaged 4.59 yards after contact per run. That's special.

Before I made a comment about Mac Jones going through his reads. Here he goes to his 2nd read and tries fitting the ball to his TE. Very accurate but leads to a INT. #KroenickFilm #NFL #NFLDraft
Love this anticipation throw from Mac Jones, sees Harris going inside of the defender and throws it before he’s open in stride. Leads to a TD!

Well start the thread here! Aidan isn’t the fastest pass rusher I’ve ever seen but he is quick! Watch here as he hits the Center with a nasty swim move and gets by him in a flash! Falls down but shows his upside! #KroenickFilm
On this rep Aidan lines up vs the RT. Uses his hands to engage the blocker then hits him with a rip move to the inside. This gets him free and he keeps fighting throughout to get the sack! #KroenickFilm

Brandon Aiyuk, WR, #49ers
6'1" - 205 lbs
25th overall pick

Aiyuk surprised some people as the 6th WR off the board. An under the radar prospect who has a strong all around game and very explosive after the catch.

#NFLTwitter #NFLDraft #49ersDraft @MyFantasyLeague
[YAC Ability]

Aiyuk is near the top of this class for me when it comes to creating after the catch.

He's so twitchy with his movements and doesn't lose much pace when changing direction. I believe he's faster than his 4.5 40 time suggests (was dealing w/ a core muscle injury).
[YAC Ability]

Between this pick and the last year's Deebo pick, it's clear the 49ers value receivers who excel after the catch.

Even though they do it in different ways, Deebo more physical and Aiyuk more elusive, they produce similar results.
