152.02/ We're off to a wedding (yay!) as a whole family (yay!) and when we ask, globally, if everyone is ready, I think about this scene:
152.03/ Alert: "Kung Fu Hustle" is free for streaming on Amazon Prime. This is not a drill.

Week eighty-eight below.
89.02/ #NachasAlert: my son has a piece (pgs. 2-3) in his high school's Torah journal. The final draft was 3 pages long so this published version was cut down significantly. (Now I get to teach him the academic trick of publishing 'chapters' as articles).

89.03/ This is such a good video, it can be played on an endless loop and it brings a big smile to my face whenever I see it. It's fine while silent but the sound makes it a masterpiece

1/ Yesterday's #NFL games, where two 1 seeds fell to a 4 & 6 seed, were revenge for all the whiny pundits saying Wild Card weekend was a bust because of all the blowouts. In three games the 49ers beat the Rams, Cowboys and Packers. This is why sports is fun!
2/ And while the Cowboys & Patriots getting blown out in the first round is fun, toppling 1 seeds is even better. Here's a thread with some of my favorite reactions to yesterday's games, especially all the epic dunks on Aaron "Meth Hobo" Rogers.
3/ The Bengals are a division rival & on principle I want them to lose but if they win, it will confirm why div. winners are significant. My #NYM NL East div. was mocked for being soft but our rival ATL won the World Series. My #Steelers rival doing the same would be poetic.

37.02/ This looks like a fruitful account. This particular entry has an intro that displays a kindred spirit IMO

37.03/ While I'm grateful that Coca-Cola has gone through the trouble to make their products kosher for #Passover, I cannot understand drinking Diet Coke willingly. Honestly, if unlabeled, I'd assume it was some drug-store's generic cola.

TL;DR: Diet coke is nasty.

35.02/ An accurate thread of Ashkenazi culture on #Passover. [Hint: we rabbis haven't forbade potatoes yet. But don't provoke us]
35.03/ Thread about #PiDay, Albert Einstein and the movie IQ. Because, of course

Week 22, Dec 12-18, thread begins here.

Week 21 was here:
22.02a/ Well Obama wasn't a real American, Biden not a real president and Jill Biden not a real doctor. This is a common gripe by anti-intellectuals & #Literalists who believe physicians own "doctor" when they actually stole it from PhDs

22.02b/ But let's be clear about why she actually deserves to use the title - aside from my own standard argument that I earned the degree - Dr. Biden is currently employed as a professor in a university. It's her job title, ya trolls! It's as valid as calling her "First Lady"
