Sorry, but it's a bit much tbh. Some of us have been pointing out how wrong it is to lie or smear people for the last 7 years. Where were these outraged voices when the demonisation of the previous LOTO happened? Joining in with, and in many cases instigating those lies & smears.
Corbyn was labelled a traitor who wanted to destroy this country. An antisemite existential threat to Jews who wanted to reopen the gates of Auschwitz. A terrorist sympathiser & a threat to national security with soldiers using his image as target practice.
He was called a vampire that needed to be killed; someone who we could 'sacrifice'. All despicable & vile lies which put him in danger. He was physically attacked - even that was made into a fact to ridicule. Some actually planned to kill him.
