Before I get into this, I want you all to be familiarised with the term ‘equivocation’. In short: it means to use ambiguous language with the intent to deceive. It’s rampant throughout this whole company and especially in the rebuttal, as you will see.

Ever since that first contact with the CEO of Swift that he got from a family member, he's been leveraging this. Always just moves up one level to the next biggest company he can con, skating by with a trail of wrecked relationships behind him.
GM's just he latest hapless victim, assuming that Bosch vetted them, who assumed Ryder vetted them, who assumed Worthington vetted them, who assumed Swift vetted them etc. etc.

He claimed to have turbine technology but of course he didn't. He hired Brayton Energy to do that part of it. E-Axles were designed by AM Racing Inc, Inverters were off the shelf from Rinehart Motion Systems. EVDrive Inc. did the batteries and other system design.
But the progress was really slow. Trevor was late on payments, slowing things way down (always blaming "Worthington Corporate). Inexperienced chief engineer Kevin Lynk struggled getting all the components placed properly in the truck.
Trevor's fraud didn't start with Nikola. The deal he inked with GM was the culmination of a decade of fraud. He started with a stolen patent, a family connection, and the balls to lie to Swift Transportation and leveraged it into what he has now. #NKLA #NKLAQ #Trevorgate
This is the story of dHybrid Inc. In late 2009, Trevor found out that a former neighbor of his was doing conversions of Diesel trucks to Diesel/Natural Gas hybrids. He got his pickup converted (rolled it a few months later, see my banner) and liked the savings.
Trevor suggested they go into business together and offered to help his friend patent his design. Instead, Trevor went and patented it in his own name and drove his pickup to Swift Transportation, a family member knew their CEO and put them in touch.
