@Antiwarcom Claiming that the #MEK has no support in #Iran is false. They have support & the number of supporters in Iran increases steadily. But those people cannot express their political affiliation freely, since they live under a totalitarian regime. The author didn't consider this fact.
@Antiwarcom It is true that the #MEK started an armed resistance against the Khomeini regime, but that was after Khomeini started to suppress peaceful protests againsts his regime violently with armed munitions. Armed resistance against a tyrant is legitimate for every nation on this earth.
@Antiwarcom The author omits that the #MEK & Mr. Rajavi campaigned for an end of the #Iran-Iraq war when he came to Paris in 1982. He signed a peace treaty with the foreign minister of #Iraq, Tariq Aziz, but Khomeini continued the war for 6 more years.
