It's yet another version of the ALEC-designed bill that started appearing in state legislatures after #NoDAPL. The legislation is deeply unpopular. Yet roughly half a dozen states quietly passed it into law since the pandemic began. It's meant to have a chilling effect.

Ich bin mittlerweile seit Jahren in der Klimabewegung aktiv: in Graswurzelgruppen, NGOs und Netzwerken: Es ist einfach so fucking schwer in die Medien zu kommen.
Widerstand heißt auch einen bestehenden Diskurs nutzen.

Medien und Politik interessieren sich einfach kaum für radikale Lösungskonzepte zu autofreien Städten, Energiedemokratie oder einer Reduktion des Flugverkehrs – egal, wie gut sie ausgearbeitet sind, egal wie dringend das Thema.
