Voor mensen die zich afvragen, hoe zo'n enorme landverschuiving kon plaatsvinden bij Alta, Noorwegen gisteren, hier een BBC-filmpje uit 1981 dat exact uitlegt hoe 'drijfklei' een vergelijkbare landverschuiving veroorzaakte bij Rissa, Noorwegen in 1978.
Gisteren... Niemand raakte gewond, alleen een hond moest gered worden.
Meest fascinerende uit 1981 filmpje, is dat de ''drijfklei' #minder water bevat dan normaal. Dat betekent dus dat uitdroging ervoor kan zorgen, dat hele lappen kust in Noorwegen onstabiel worden.
