I then endured nasty comments via message as well as racist comments from the Uber Driver, whilst he was driving away from my location unwilling to cancel the trip, also trying call me on the phone, most likely to verbally abuse me! @threadreaderapp “unroll”
I was obviously upset, worried as the person had my home address and the fact he may have staked me online as my profile isn’t on the app.

The system is broken and has been for some time in our beloved SA, both in society and in sport. We return from isolation and we say to the world, “look at us, we’re back, oh by the way, there’s still no black people who can play the game, but we brought a few along”

Lieber @leongoretzka_, Du hast in den letzten Wochen sehr bedeutende Zeichen gegen Rassismus und Antisemitismus gesetzt. Dafür großen Respekt und Herzlichen Dank. Leider wurde dies unzureichend von der Öffentlichkeit wahrgenommen, auch in unserer gefärbten Twitter-Bubble. #Hopp
Nichtsdestotrotz waren es aus meiner Sicht bemerkenswerte Auftritte, Gesten und Statements und ich würde mir wünschen das Deine Kollegen diesem Beispiel folgen. Auch Dein Jubel gegen den alten Verein war für mich ein aufrichtiges und charakterstarkes Zeichen im modernen Fußball.
Gestern habt Ihr nun erneut ein Zeichen gesetzt um für Dietmar Hopp einzustehen. Auch dies kann ich moralisch nachvollziehen und es gibt daran nichts auszusetzen. Also auch dafür meinen Respekt. Aus dieser Grundhaltung erfolgt jetzt allerdings auch Verantwortung.

4) A different football coach "joking" that he was going to sell my 9 year old to White Slave Traders. I had to explain slavery to my child that day. 5) Being asked, regularly, if it's true what they say about black men's penis's.
