Everybody eats Ghutka or Pan Masala.
You get all kinds of food here. Local Dum Biriyani, Poori-White Lobia curry were yum. Street food is big, chur muri, fresh cut fruits

Guwahati has fantastic public transport. We used bus to go everywhere. Very well connected city. In spite of this, traffic is terrible. And this coming from a Bangalorean 😅
Most happening places are Dispur, Christian Basti, Ganeshgudi. Has all the major brands and eats.

A v good friend/teacher (doubly vaccinated)has recently been v unwell, she caught #COVID19 from a pupil in her class.
Many other teachers in the school became ill.

1/ Sadly I can believe our government is pursuing a #HerdImmunityByInfection “strategy” ….but I am really struggling to accept that their senior medical & scientific advisors & those in @PHE_uk etc are condoning such a brutal & inhumane policy.
