The pupils can constrict (miosis) and dilate (mydriasis)
Mydriasis = bigger word = bigger pupil.
Constriction is a PARASYMPATHETIC function (tiny relaxed happy pupils)
Dilation is a SYMPATHETIC function (eyes wide with fear)
