अगदी बालपणापासूनच अमेरिकेत राहणारी माझी एक मैत्रीण आहे. ती वंशाने जरी भारतीय असली तरी अमेरिकन म्हणावी इतपत ती आता अमेरिकेच्या संस्कृतीत मिसळल्या गेली आहे. मध्यंतरी कोरोनाचा अमेरिकेत मोठा कहर चालू असतानाहि आंदोलन करण्यासाठी अमेरिकन नागरिक मोठ्याप्रमाणावर रस्त्यावर उतरले होते.👇 
कारण होते 'जॉर्ज फ्लॉइड' या ब्लॅक अमेरिकन कलाकाराची एका पोलीस अधिकाऱ्याकडून वंशद्वेषातून झालेली हत्या. या घटनेचा तीव्र निषेध नोंदविण्यासाठी ऐन कोरोनाकाळातही समस्त अमेरिकन जनता रस्त्यावर उतरली होती. त्यात जसे अमेरिकन ब्लॅक होते अगदी तसेच अमेरिकन व्हाईटही👇
त्यांच्या खांद्याला खांदा लावून या आंदोलनात सहभागी झाले होते. या अमेरिकेतील घटनेनंतर भारतात अशी अनेक प्रकरणे कमी अधिक प्रमाणात घडून गेली. परंतु त्यातही क्रौर्याची परिसीमा गाठलेले प्रकरण म्हणजे; 'हाथरस सामूहिक बलात्कार प्रकरण'. या प्रकरणानंतर संबंध देश👇
