Bikram Bahadur Jamatia lives in his native village Moharcherra. He has dedicated his life to uplift and protect the tribals of Tripura

Over the years he has promoted indigenous faith, culture and heritage, had played the role of ambassador against alleged conversion in the state’s hilly areas.

Originally from West Bengal, his experience with Konyak tribe in Nagaland helped him get a job in Andaman and Nicobar islands as a health officer.

The Jarawa tribe was known to shoot strangers with poison arrows at sight but it didn't deter Dr. Kar.
He not only introduced himself with gifts,coconuts n bananas but made door to door visits to befriend them.

Harikatha, known by different names in parts of India, means the same all over - Story of Hari (Lord)
The performer of Harikatha is called Haridasa.
But our Haridasa was a bit different.
His command over the language is attributed to his fame but he credits Cinema for it.

After losing his father at 12,Kota Satchidanand performed pooja, yagams very efficiently.

The instrument he plays is called Sarinda.
