The thing I am most attached / obsessed with to when it comes to the #NYHealthAct is DENTAL Care & MATERNAL CARE .

There are way too many of us putting off dental & eye care no matter how painful it may be because we dont have any other option.
We deserve to go to the hospital in peace

I literally dont know what else to say other than that healthcare is a human right and its needs to be implemented S.T.A.T

Not supporting it means people dying due to not being well versed with the system and or not being able to pay
I remember being around when we got #PassNYHealth to trend in NY , I literally never thought that would happen and that I would be seeing it.
Guess what though, I still had no access to care and booking a plane ticket was still cheaper & people were still rationing medicines

NY is the #COVID19 epicenter AND ALSO has the worst hospital quality in the nation BY FAR. @NYPIRG's Dec. 2019 report is 🔥🔥 & more relevant now than ever.

Nation wide, only 2% of hospitals have a 1 star quality rating. In NY State, its 34%. In NYC, its 66%. This is a complete aberration. There are 37 states with NO 1 star hospitals. 3/

To be clear: In a global pandemic the most vulnerable, many of them Medicaid patients, will be the ones to be most severely impacted. THIS strikes at them directly...and this dude simply REFUSES to #MakeBillionairesPay

Since I can walk and chew gum at the same time, I can do the following: Laud @NYGovCuomo for his decisive actions and able staff who are keeping New Yorkers informed during a time of crisis AND...
...publicly question the morality of a decision that will directly impair the ability of the system designed to serve the poor and working class of our state to do what it’s supposed to do: keep them alive and healthy...
