There is a controversial HUGE secret hidden in plain sight all around the world.

But as much artifacts that could be was carted away and hidden beneath places like the #Smithsonian institute & the #vatican.
[they] hid the traces of GIANTS from us as much as possible.
Taking exhaustive measures by removing bones from "indian" mounds, relics, artifacts, texts and countless archaeological relics of these GIANTS to cover up the massive truth of our real past.

2. dominio nabateo (s. VI a.C).

The mysterious landscape of Petra's 'High Place of Sacrifice', perched at the edge of a 170m cliff from which you can survey the vastness of the ancient rock-cut city. This sacred area includes an obelisk, altar, basins and channels, likely for the blood of sacrificial victims..
A rock-cut sacrificial basin and channel for the flowing blood of the offering. Though most sacrifices appear to have involved animal victims, there are references to the Nabateans also practicing human sacrifice. The sacred area was laid out in the 2nd-1st century BC.
The evocative flight of rock-cut steps leading up to the "High Place" of Petra - one of many that criss-cross the ancient mountain city, all cut into the rose-red sandstone. Indeed, "Petra" itself translates simply in both Greek and Latin as "rock". #petra #jordan

If you’ve ever visited #Amman, you’ve definitely caught a glimpse of the colossal Temple of ‘Hercules’ standing tall on ancient acropolis. The architecture is amazing, but who was the temple actually for & was it ever finished?

The Amman citadel is an amazing site & I hope this thread inspires some visits! Occupied since the Neolithic period, the citadel is marked in some way by every phase of Jordan’s history.

It’s also home to an amazing archaeological museum, featuring an even wider range of finds!
The temple sits a conventional Roman podium on the southern end of the fortified citadel, and would have measured 30x24m. The most impressive aspect of the building is its vertical scale: each of its columns rises some 10m atop the stylobate, making it incredibly imposing!
