The #NCLAT will hear today an appeal by #Alphabet (parent company of @Google ) against a @CCI_India order imposing a penalty of ₹936 crore on the tech giant for it anti-competitive practices in relation to its Play Store policies. 
In addition to monetary fine, the CCI has also directed Google to cease and desist from participating in anti-competitive practices and to modify its conduct within a defined timeline.

The appeal will be heard by a two-member bench of Justice Rakesh Kumar, Member (Judicial) and Dr Alok Srivastava, Member (Technical).

The #GooglePay app has been temporarily taken down from the #AppleAppStore. When users search for the Google Pay app on App Store, the search results show its competitors like #PhonePe and #Paytm.
According to #Google, the app has been taken down temporarily to fix an issue. An update will be issued soon with a fix.

The #Paytm app has been removed from the #GooglePlayStore. The reason reported for the removal of the app is that #Google doesn’t allow ‘unregulated gambling apps that facilitate sports betting’.
According to CNBC-TV18, #Google had notified developers about this a few days ago. It also said that it is working with #Paytm to bring the app back on the #PlayStore.

Regarding how they used their #PlayStore account, I'm pretty sure they are unable to update the official #Aadhaar #android app because they lost the release key. Please @UIDAI, show me I'm wrong

The #Aadhaar #android app is saving your biometric settings in a local database which is protected with a password. To generate the password they used a random number with 123456789 as seed and a hardcoded string db_password_123 🤦♂️
It can be good also to remove the "developer" endpoint from the release apk...

By checking the two versions, we can see they only modified few bytes of your lib. In fact, they only changed the "SCREEN_SHOT_IT_PACKAGE".
