Lord, as I put on my eye protection, I pray that You open my eyes to see Your face in each patient I care for. As I put on my mask, I ask that Your words are on my tongue, to speak Your wisdom and comfort.

As I put on my gloves, I ask that You steady my hands to do Your work.
As I remove my protective equipment, I implore You to remove any traces of my selfishness and pride.

Hoy celebramos la Solemnidad de la Anunciación (o Encarnación) del Señor. Un misterio cristiano que, cada mediodía, muchos recuerdan con el rezo del Ángelus. Lo que no sabes es que esta oración nos une a los musulmanes. Te lo cuento en el #HilodelÁngelus #PrayForTheWorld 
Antes que nada hay que explicar algo que, aunque para muchos es obvio, otros muchos desconocen también, y es que hoy se celebra la Anunciación porque faltan justo 9 meses para la Navidad. 🎄
