Former Warren supporter here with a bit of advice: 1. Take all of @ewarren's prescriptions offered on @maddow
the other night seriously & implement these actions IMMEDIATELY. This will help bring over Warren supporters to your campaign (1/10)
2. Even though the overwhelming majority of your supporters don't engage in toxic behavior online, you need to show that you can lead the ones that do. MLK was a good leader. @repjohnlewis IS a good leader: lead like that. (2/10)
Tell your paid surrogates & staffers to stop attacking the DNC, & delete the tweets that gin up anger towards the DNC & the "Democratic establishment." You are losing because of VOTERS, not Dem establishment! & you need BOTH! When you talk like that, you just ALIENATE BOTH (3/10)

Before Obama said “you didn’t build that” in 2012, @ewarren #PresidentWarren said THIS in 2011:

“There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody. You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear...
“You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for.

“You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate.

“You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for...
“You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did...

1) As I said before, I don't and I can't have a candidate because I still don't vote in the US. So suppose I have no preference. It baffles me that the one female forerunner is ignored by the press;

#PresidentElizabethWarren
#PresidentWarren2020
#PresidentWarren
2) it baffles me that the only candidate that presented a detailed economic plan for implementing what, for reasons I can't understand, you, Americans, don't like to call "National Public Health System" (like most other countries).

The attempt to erase #PresidentWarren is unprecedented...in 2020. You have to go all the way back to 2019 to find the press doing the same thing with Harris, O'Rourke, and others who lost the invisible Media Primary. *That's* the primary that seems to *really* determine who wins.
PS/ Media has many good means to determine who it should cover. Who's polling well? Who's candidacy is historic? Who's finishing in the Top 5 in early states? Who has presidential credentials? Who'll be on everyone's VP list? Yet no one can tell how media is determining coverage.
PS2/ And I should also give a shout out here to Andrew Yang, who was consistently ignored by media in nationally televised debates in 2019 and 2020, no matter *how* he stood among those on stage in terms of polling and regardless of the historic nature of his candidacy.

THREAD: (1/11) 3 years ago, @ewarren read Coretta Scott King's letter opposing the 1986 appointment of Jeff Sessions to a fed'l judgeship. @ewarren thought King's objections remained relevant in 2017 as the Senate considered the confirmation of Sessions as the US Attorney General
(2/11) In her letter, Coretta Scott King was critical of Jeff Sessions' actions as a US Attorney in the early 1980s, and she did not want him to have a lifetime appointment to the federal bench. For example, she wrote:
(3/11) King's 1986 letter and testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee should have been entered into the Congressional Record. However, the Chairman, Senator Strom Thurmond (SC) (who ran for Pres. in 1948 on the Dixiecrat segregationist ticket) apparently forgot to enter it.

#PresidentWarren is trending because despite her being 3rd in delegates, 3rd in most national polls and 2nd in endorsements, the media acts as if she doesn't exist. So her supporters are dealing with this blackout by making sure voters know she's still here and still kicking ass.
Typical election punditry right now:

"Sanders leads the pack with Buttigieg close behind, THIRD DOESN'T MATTER because Klobuchar is finally surging after we begged you to make it happen, Biden is fading and OMG Bloomberg I love saying Bloomberg, it really rolls off the tongue."
