1. I think it was 1982 when I sold the @NFL on staying in Honolulu for the #ProBowl. I had lunch with the three hall of fame inductees who made up the committee tasked with the decision. I pitched that they can take their families anywhere on the mainland but Waikiki was special.

The Pro Bowl is the most overrated sports event by a mile. Anyone who loves football has at some point paused and asked themselves: "No one in this game is going 100% because of injury risk. The selection to get here is flawed. The game itself doesn't count. Why am I watching?"
