Yesterday, I delivered the commencement speech at Logos Academy, York with my family in attendance.

It wasn't my best speech; I was nervous for some inexplicable reason.

But the highlight was my son screaming, "That's my Daddy" when I started to speak.

#grateful #prouddad
I told the class of 2019:

"Anyone can start anywhere and become anything they really want to be if they are willing to work hard."
Everybody feels inadequate at some point in their lives and I was desperately unsure I had anything of value to tell this crowd.

Until Andrew screamed out from the crowd.

After that, I delivered.

The experience was surreal and I am
immensely grateful for the opportunity.

This morning I walked by the new office building going up on Garrett and 2nd, behind the Glass Building. I looked up some of the history of the development. I found a chance for us to quickly go on a trip down “terrible decisions by the city to address housing” lane.
In January 2015, Kuttner presented a plan to the Planning Commission to build a couple hundred fairly affordable micro units on this site, plus some office/retail space, and 271 parking spaces. cvilletomorrow.org/articles/glass…
