BREAKING: The Trump administration just finalized a rule that attempts to ease nondiscrimination protections in health care. This is always unconscionable, but especially so during a pandemic. #PutPatientsFirst
This rule change attempts to undermine anti-discrimination protections in place under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of "color, national origin, sex, age or disability."
To work against anyone's access to care in the midst of a global health is unconscionable.
