#Thread on anti-Muslim violence in the last 24 hours and how the anti-Muslim violence broke out across India in the name of the Shobha Yatra. The minor incidents that earlier used to happen have now turned into a considerable amount of arson and violence against Muslims.+
In the Muslim-dominated Kiradpura area of the old city in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, a group of youths on bikes shouted provocative slogans against Muslims, which led to an altercation with locals. The situation escalated into violence, with stone pelting and vehicle torching.+
In Lakhisarai, Bihar, Bajrang members brandished swords and played provocative songs during Shoba Yatra.

With #RamaNavami coming up in a couple of days, thread on the Vontimitta Kodanda Rama temple in Andhra Pradesh, where the Sri Rama Navami Utsavam is held annually. One of the oldest Rama temples in Andhra Pradesh, known for it's architectural excellence.
Vontimitta lies in the Annamayya district( earlier Kadapa dt),the home of Tallapaka Annamacharya who composed all those wonderful keertanas on Shree Venkateswara, Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy, who predicted the future and was known for his prophecies.
Kadapa is also home to Molla, born in a potter's community, who wrote the Ramayana in Telugu, C.P.Brown who compiled the first English-Telugu dictionary, Y.V.Reddy former director of RBI.

This is in line with what's written in the Ramayana, specifically what happens at Chitrakoota, when Bharatha pleads Rama to Ayodhya. When Rama doesn't relent, Bharatha requests Rama to give him his sandals, which he takes back to Ayodhya & places them below the throne (3)
