Not much data out there but even #redlight with a high lux will suppress #melatonin & disrupt #circadianrhythm.

So make sure your red light machine is far from you at night to reduce intensity! Use a lux meter.

Light exposure in evening, night & morning affected circadian phase of #melatonin levels. In addition, even longest wavelengths (631 nm, red) & intermittent light exposures induced circadian resetting responses & exposure to...
low light levels (5-10 lux) at night when sleeping with eyes closed induced a circadian response. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30311830

RED BALANCES BLUE AND UV LIGHT

More evidence for the benefits of using all the light.
You don't have to worry about missing colors or spectrums of light in sunlight....only artificial produced or altered light (glass etc).

"We observed that....

visible red light contributes to skin cell protection against UVB by modulating gene expression that enhances the adaptive response to redox and inflammatory balancing and by upregulating genes involved in DNA excision repair processes."

function on sunlight not screenlight.

Most people easily understand whole foods are healthier than processed foods.

The same goes for light.

Sunlight, starlight, firelight are the unprocessed, whole foods of light.

WHY SEE EVERY SUNSET FOR GOOD HEALTH?

There are many reasons but as you see in the pics below, UV light power vanishes and we see a #bluelight SPIKE in the sun's spectral output. Color temperature also spikes at this time too.
The vanishing of UV light along with the...
increase in blue light along with a color temperature spike triggers photoreceptor cells in your skin and eyes (cornea and retina) called melanopsin and neuropsin. Neuropsin is a UVA photoreceptor. It senses the diminishing UV light and alerts your body clocks that night is...
coming. Melanopsin pays attention to this brightening/dimming of light especially light in the blue light range (480nm peak). As this kind of light at sunset bursts and then dims quickly after sunset, melanopsin sends a signal through your main body clock called the...

#antigen testing again falsely discredited - this time by @GabrielScally on @cooper_m @TonightVMTV saying that it has “no particularly useful function” and is “positively dangerous”. Here he repeats the erroneous assertions of @deeksj in his now discredited @bmj paper
Dr. Scally asserts that #antigen testing could give “false reassurance” & it “may not pick up more than 50% of + cases”. This is a direct contradiction of the #redlight policy operating in Liverpool where >14k hitherto unidentified cases were discovered in >500k #antigen tests
