Selama pake Excel, kendala yg sering aku alamin pas berkutat sama byk data itu kadang ada
nilai yg masih belum diketahui formatnya.

Untungnya ada fungsi IS yg bisa ngebantu "recheck" nilainya sebelum akua lanjutin formula nya

Aku mau coba tunjukin di sini. Semoga bermanfaat Image
1. ISBLANK
Fungsi ini dipake buat meriksa cell nya kosong atau nggak. Kalau kosong, ISBLANK bakal
ngehasilin nilai TRUE dan kalau nggak, hasilnya bakal jadi FALSE.

Syntax Fungsi
=ISBLANK(Value)

Noted : Kalau Sel nya isinya tanda spasi saja, berarti bukan Blank ya Hhh
2. ISFORMULA

Syntax Fungsi:
=ISFORMULA(Reference) Image

7 must-know number formatting Excel tips:
1. Custom Format (with emojis)

Tired of boring data? Give it some personality by visualizing your data with Emojis 🙂. Open the Format Cells dialog box > Number Tab > Custom > enter ‘[Color 10]0.00%🙂;[Color 3]-0.00%☹️’ as type.
2. Add Text to Numbers

Adding text to numbers such as ‘Million’ manually is time-consuming and will cause calculation errors because the values are read as text. Instead, use custom formatting. Open the Format Cells box > Number Tab > Custom > enter ‘#,, “Million”’ as type.

Excel Skill and Concepts a Data Analyst Should Know
Check this 🧵🧵🧵 for more details
Kindly RT 🙏
It is always encouraged that a data analyst should learn how to use Excel or other spreadsheet app to work with data. As a matter of fact, Excel is the closest tool to understanding complex challenges in your Journey.
If you can do it with Excel, you can figure it out for others
Mastering Excel is a Journey and what you end up knowing still depends hugely on your role.
I will however highlight some concepts you should be familiar with as a Data Analyst in Excel.
Note: It is not sufficient to be familiar with them, you should Know WHEN TO USE THEM.

is.fi/taloussanomat/…
En varmaankaan tässä ketjussa kerro mitään, mitä ei olisi jo jonkun muun toimesta jossain kerrottu. Ajattelin kuitenkin koota omia ajatuksia, koska voin ja haluan. Deal with it.

From today's session on Financial Modeling.

The models we build depend on the stories we want to tell and the questions we want to answer.

The most important of building the model is figuring out the question we are trying to answer.

Do that first before you start with Excel.
Our ability to generate scenarios for stress testing and sensitivity analysis is limited by acceptable and common ranges.

Understanding the distribution of drivers we are modeling can lead to richer and far more appropriate scenarios.
While most model builders are comfortable with putting together a balance sheet and income statement, quite a few struggle with statement of cash flows. If they can or could, they would skip it.

You can't balance your balance sheet or pass model cross checks without one.

Everyday since news of #ukricuts #gcrfcuts broke another set of previously unimaginable consequences occur:-
1) end of peer review for grants - it was already on a shoogly peg but who is now going to donate labour to laborious review of proposals - including risk assessments? 😐
2) Applications for funding - it takes two years constant work to go from idea to successful application with success rates low. To do this needs trust that if successful your work will be funded throughout (stage-gated). Right now I can’t imagine why I would EVER apply again.
3/ Partnerships. It takes years to build towards equitable partnerships in contexts of conflict & impoverishment. Some of mine are over 14 years in making. Steady, constant care. This is why they worked. Why they were funded. 1 secretive stroke of a 🇬🇧 pen and ‘poof’ - #ukricuts
