#RememberingHamzaBaba, the great Sufi poet and also a zealous political worker of the Pakistan Movement.

Hamza recalls the emotional scenes of Aug 14 1947 in Khyber when he, along with other tribesmen, pledged to protect Pakistan — the country created in the name of Islam.
Hamza Baba, also called Baba-e-Ghazal of Pashto poetry is usually remembered for his poetry but he also extensively wrote on philosophy and mysticism, and have penned essays, novel, plays, travelogues and monologues.

Today is his 28th death anniversary.
وائي اغیار چه د دوزخ ژبه ده
زه به جنت ته د #پښتو سره ځم

Strangers call it the language of Hell
but to Paradise I with Pashto would go.
