The Turkish state has always wanted to annihilate the Kurds in all four parts of Kurdistan. During the Saddam Hussein era, western allies implemented a no-fly zone in North Iraq (South Kurdistan) and South Iraq to protect the Kurds and the Shittes, respectively. 1/6
The Turkish state requested to fly over the N. Iraq airspace under the guise of protecting the Kurds, where in fact the Turks wanted to bomb & kill Kurdish civilians. They had already bombed and destroyed many Kurdish villages and towns in Turkey and Iraq. Massacring Kurds. 2/6
The USA must not leave North Syria or grant the Turks its airspace because their objective has not changed for they will massacre the Kurds and other minorities in that region. They demonstrated that all too well in the illegal invasion of Afrin in early 2018. 3/6
