Hey @CITYofCALGARY - its time to slow down & reassess the #GreenLine - for many reasons:
1) timing - not now - not during COVID, not post the collapse of oil prices - lets wait 5 to 10 years.
2) costs - are exploding - the cost per mile ESTIMATE - has more than doubled!! DELAY!

3) Ridership forecasts are just a guess - given COVID & ENERGY - there isn't a hope your forecasts are close to accurate - you can't rely on them - you can't. #DELAY

forecasts - they keep saying 20,000 jobs - we all know that isn't permanent - some might be for a week - its a lie to plug that number - you all know better. #JustDelay

1. The swiftness with which theat level systems and emergency preparedness measures kicked in. Yes, it 'helped' that living through SARS resulted in many SOPs and back-up plans being created, and reduced reaction and reflection time. But leadership played a role too. 2/n
2. Communication was key to creating a sense of calm. There was clear guidance from the healthcare authorities. From universities. From primary care providers. Heck, our *landlord* asked for travel declaration forms being signed within days of a few cases being identified. 3/n

2/9 Clean fuel vehicles are coming: Hydrogen fuel cell, & #ElectricVehicles (#BEV & #PHEV) are coming sooner than we thought. Govt envisions an electric mobility future for us & is taking a lot of steps to push EVs under #FAME2 scheme. To reduce pollution & fuel import bill.
