1/ On #Rittenhouse: The Supreme Ct's Heller decision does not expressly limit the 2d amend.'s protections to the home. In fact, it may suggest that the 2d amend. extends beyond the home. "Individual self-defense" is "the central component."
2/ However, even if 2d amendment protects the right to possess a firearm for self-defense outside the home, this right is not unlimited; it is subject to regulation.
3/ The Heller Ct didn't address possession of firearms by minors, but other courts have, concluding that restrictions on persons under 21 to purchase handguns —and the ability of persons under 18 to possess handguns—are "firmly historically rooted."

I don't hate cops, I hate the ACTIONS of some. I hate the fact that there is apparently (clearly), systemic racism in the police & sheriff's offices around the country; I hate that they instill more fear than courage and that they don't seem to offer proper training. I hate when
they are called on bogus complaint calls, that the caller isn't punished. I hate that when they are called to help someone with a troubled child, or adult child, they don't have proper support professionals, who can handle mental problems, with finesse. I hate that sometimes,
a #policofficer's first thought is to pull out a gun, rather than having the training to be verbally persuasive. I hate that the police no longer KNOW the people on their "beats," therefore have no ties to the community. I hate that this country thinks PDs around the country

There's video of #KenoshaShooter as well as video of militia members explaining to each other that the police planned to push protesters at the militia members so they (the #Militia ) could take care of the protesters. 1/13

Then, later that night, the #kenoshapolicedepartment tossed bottles of water to those militia members and thanked them for their help while simultaneously telling protesters they had to leave the area because they were "civilians."

Then the militia members staged themselves 3 blocks south of 60th street and the police kettled protesters to 60th street. It was then that this militia member shot one of the protesters in the head with an AR-15.

Meet Kyle: No signs of malicious intentions, racist motivations, though he did understand the potential threat of being at this event, hence the firearm.
He was there to protect property & was carrying a firearm.
He was being chased. He runs right into group destroying cars, he was being attacked as one of them throws something at him.
