Using the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s Statewise Covid Hospital Report, we found that the ratio of hospital beds to patients in Delhi is approximately 1 bed for 190 people, and is one of the highest ratios amongst all states.
Despite that, we saw the severe scarcity of hospital beds and medical infrastructure during the second wave of COVID- 19.

What about our other states and villages that have even lesser medical resources? How are they placed to protect themselves against the #COVID19Pandemic?
In view of the catastrophic second wave in #MadhyaPradesh, it is crucial to zoom into health infrastructure to gauge its preparedness - even as cases slowly decline.

We found that the ratio of #hospitalbeds to patients in Madhya Pradesh is approximately 1 bed for 640 people.
