These @WhiteHouse readouts during the @realDonaldTrump administration are frequently issued long after those made public by the foreign government on the other end of the call and sometimes only consist of a sentence or two.
As tardy and scant as they may be, not issuing them at all would yield to foreign governments — such as #China and #Russsia — control of the narrative.
