Analysis published by the @NEUnion yesterday shows that under Labour #Poplar and #Limehouse’s schools will receive £3 million more in funding next year compared to 2015/16, but under the Tories it would be minus £15 million & under LibDems it would stay the same #VoteEducation
@NEUnion They've relaunched the School Cuts site – search for #Poplar & #Limehouse & you see a rash of minuses, indicating chronic underfunding. It calculates that Our Lady & St Joseph where we were canvassing this morning will be down £1,016 per child in funding in 2020 with the Tories ImageImage
@NEUnion I've signed the @NEUnion pledge and I'll always fight for every school to get the funding it needs to deliver a high quality education for every child. #SENDCrisis #SchoolCuts #VoteEducation @SendTower @SENDcrisisHack @towerhamletsmum Image

So here in #Bristol the #SENDCrisis just gets worse rather than better. Added to misleading statistics I have today discovered a whole new illegal activity by @BristolCouncil - they are simply refusing to take any requests for EHCPs in December. bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-n…
Parental applications for an EHCP now receive this response - they refuse to consider the request, delete it and require parents to resubmit in January - this is of course completely contrary to law. Well done @BristolCouncil for finding a whole new way to break the law
Some good news. @BristolCouncil have changed their statement this morning about EHCP applications. But @BristolCouncil you are aware the application process starts on receipt of request not when you get around to opening it?
