Are the Utah Jazz the least consistent team in the NBA?

slcdunk.com/2018/12/17/181…
In their 14 wins, the Jazz have an average point differential of 15.5.

In their 16 losses, the Jazz are minus-13.3 points per game.

The 28.8-point difference between those two numbers is the largest of any team in the NBA.

slcdunk.com/2018/12/17/181…
In wins, Utah outscores its opponents by 14.7 points per 100 possessions.

In losses, the Jazz are minus-13.3 points per 100 possessions.

The difference between the two? Yep, Utah stands alone. And not in a good way.

Marcus Smart is unique.

He's taken 1,094 3s & has a TS% of .480. Of the 113 in NBA history w/ 100+ 3PA & a .480 TS% or lower, Smart is 1 of 2 w/ a positive Box Plus-Minus. Lonzo Ball is the other one.

Hard to have a positive impact with such poor shooting. Smart does just that.
Only 20 players in NBA history match or exceed Marcus Smart's combination of REB%, STL% & BLK%.

If you limit it to players Smart's height (6'4") or shorter, the list narrows to three: Tony Allen, Eric Bledsoe & Victor Oladipo.

Now, throw in AST% and it's just Smart & Bledsoe.

Looking at how the BPMs of international prospects in @DraftExpress' top 100 translate to the NBA, thanks to @JacobEGoldstein...

Luka Doncic's Spanish ACB-leading Box Plus-Minus of 7.93 translates to 3.41.

That would've ranked top 30 in the NBA, ahead of names like LaMarcus Aldridge, Draymond Green and Paul George.

Dzanan Musa's Adriatic League Box Plus-Minus of 3.04 translates to -3.66.

That would've ranked bottom 50 in the NBA, around names like Ben McLemore, Nick Young and Carmelo Anthony.

Bear in mind that Musa is 19 years old.
