A day before concluding my NYSC programme, a building in Ita Faji, Lagos Island collapsed. A blood drive was coordinated by @LifeBankNigeria to help the victims and a good number of clinics/hospitals were identified as centres to donate.

Anyway, they talked me through the whole process and the person handling my donation was nice and funny, so I didn't "outwardly" panic about the size of the needle.

Her aunt was asked to go get blood from a blood bank but did not arrive after 3 hours. Seeing as her blood group was the same match as mine. I told my boss I was willing to donate and eventually did after some tests were carried out on me.
