Sanskrit has been made unnecessarily difficult

1. Some ran away from the Sanskrit class when they were introduced the Sandhi rules.

2. Some others did the same when they were forced to memorize the declension table (raamah raamau raamaah etc.).
3. Few others escaped when syntax rules and case-endings were brought before them.

4. And the class was almost empty when taddhita (formation of noun-bases from other noun-bases) rules were introduced.
Sanskrit has been made unnecessarily difficult by following unscientific methods of teaching in the classroom. Teaching merely the grammatical lessons has not only harmed Sanskrit in school education, but also has prevented many genuine seekers from learning this language.
