The whole country is mourning the death of former president Shri #PranabMukherjee. A huge loss for the nation. May he rest in peace. Everyone is tweeting. similarly, why can't we keep on tweeting about the deaths of our healthcare workers too? Aren't those important enough?
Correction: Total death no. 573 and not 873.
In India, 108 doctors have lost their lives in #COVID19 until July 13. 10 nurses too lost their lives during this period, w/ their average age being 49.6 years. I wish we could make this a trend in @Twitter as we did for HM, Sushant Singh, Amitabh Bacchan! #SaveHealthcareWorkers
I am not a powerful entity to create a trend in Twitter, although we can do this collectively. Healthcare workers have families too, they need our voice too.
Why there's no detailed analysis on the cause of deaths? why there's no noise to correct this situation? Doesn't out lives matter too? Is it only our job to protect and die in the line of duty? Out of immense frustration I voiced this out! Not sure if anyone would listen.
