O Dilocarcinus pagei tem ampla distribuição na região central da América do Sul. É importante para a biota aquática, pois atua no processo da matéria orgânica e na cadeia trófica de rios e lagos e ainda vale ressaltar que são usados como isca na pesca esportiva.

Dilocarcinus pagei has a wide distribution in the central region of South America. It is important for aquatic biota, as it acts in the process of organic matter and in the trophic chain of rivers and lakes. It is worth mentioning that they're used as bait in sport fishing.

This article is written in english and it explains how bad the situation is in the Pantanal wetlands. There was a 200% rise of fires this year and the biome already lost over 12% of its original area. Plant and animal lives lost are countless #SavePantanal

The fires were caused by human action. Pantanal is going through the worst drought period in almost 50 years. There's no rain to stop the fire and the brazilian government does not take action. #SavePantanal

Aspilia grazielae is a Pantanal's endemic plant. It occurs only at maciço do Urucum and it's threatened with extinction. Pantanal has already lost over 12% of it's original area due to fires this year. Please help #SavePantanal
