Really amazing! However, for teaching I’ve been using a cryo EM of Sindbis from a 18 yr old JVI paper of Michael Rossmann and @DirectorPI4D, which I already found utmost stunning: jvi.asm.org/content/jvi/76…

But see tweet 2/2 for what baffled me most in terms of visualization, EVER!
Now isn’t this plain mind-boggling?? I would have thought our convention to draw #molecules is, well, a convention of how to draw them. But then, #BAZINGA, they really look like this! I find this totally crazy- let me shout out: #sciencerocks!
