ITMRCC non ha preso bene queste pressioni esterne e ha fatto notare che sono quattro giorni che lavorano senza sosta: e questo è pure vero.
Verosimilmente, per tutta risposta, hanno attivato 'le luci' come non si era mai visto nei monitor AIS, come un 'pizzino' tracciabile.

3⃣ Però è anche vera un'altra cosa. Come denunciamo da tempo, non pochi sono gli ostacoli per avere info sugli eventi SAR (parlo a nome dei Cronisti e NON delle ONG, sia chiaro).

@alarm_phone hatte die Behörden & uns über den Seenotfall informiert. Wenige Stunden später fand Seabird das Boot neben dem Handelsschiff und der Ölplattform Bouri.

@alarm_phone #Seabird umkreiste das Boot über mehrere Stunden bis spät in den Abend & war immer wieder in Kontakt mit dem Handelsschiff & der Ölplattform. Der Kapitän der #Asso29 leugnete, dass es sich um einen Seenotfall handelt. Unsere Crew konnte ihn dann aber doch zur Rettung überzeugen.
@alarm_phone Auch die sog. Libysche Küstenwache war auf dem Weg zu dem Boot & hätte die Menschen wohl nach Libyen zurückgeschleppt, wenn unsere #Seabird-Crew nicht die #Asso29 dazu gebracht hätte, das Boot rechtzeitig zu retten.

Las imágenes fueron capturadas por el #Seabird, una avioneta fletada por la ONG alemana @seawatch_intl en colaboración con la Iniciativa de Pilotos Humanitarios de Suiza (HPI) para sobrevolar vastas extensiones del Mediterráneo Central y localizar embarcaciones perdidas.
Las muertes y naufragios en el Mediterráneo no solo son evitables, si no que son ya un genocidio. Nuestro mar es una tumba al aire libre de miles y miles de personas que viajan forzadas. Y esto no solo ocurre con el beneplácito de la UE, sino con su patrocinio y financiación.

Come ad agosto, molti dei naufragi avvenuti a settembre non sono stati ammessi dalle autorità. Eccetto pochi casi, abbiamo saputo di queste tragiche morti in mare grazie ai sopravvissuti o ai coraggiosi pescatori che si sono rivolti ad Alarm Phone per far sentire la loro voce.

As in August, most shipwrecks that happened in September were not recognised by any authority. With the exception of a few, we only heard of these tragic deaths at sea because traumatised survivors or brave fishermen reached out to #AlarmPhone to make their voices heard.

Siamo finalmente riusciti a parlare con la c.d. guardia costiera libica che abbiamo informato alle 1.15 di notte. Dicono di essere al corrente del caso ma di non aver mandato soccorsi.

We finally managed to talk to the so-called Libyan Coastguard, who we informed at 1.15am. They said they are aware of the case but no rescue has been sent.
We are still in contact with the people in distress who are in panic with no water and food & little hope for rescue!

I slept for fourteen or fifteen hours today after sleeping six the night before. Sleep is one of the most important things when you live with #bipolardisorder -- too much and you sink into a depression. Too little and...
...you are the obnoxious life of the party. So my body fought off the mania by blasting me with an excessive night stupor. It made it hard to engage for very long with people on my online bipolar support group. Perhaps it was for the best given that I was such dismal company.

According to #TALIA who turned to us & the Civil Fleet for support, RCC Malta promised to trans-ship the rescued to Armed Forces of Malta assets & to disembark them in Malta. This did not happen. TALIA moved then toward Lampedusa but was denied to enter territorial waters! 2/4

The ~52 people say that their engine has stopped working and that their boat is drifting. They cannot move on and require help immediately. #Seabird of @seawatch_intl has spotted them from the sky and the merchant vessel TALIA is nearby, we hope they will engage in rescue!
The people are still not rescued! They told us moments ago that they are still in distress at sea, unable to move on as they have run out of fuel. We first alerted authorities over 11 hours ago - why has a Search & Rescue operation not been carried out yet? Do not let them drown!
