Haha, perfect! @HinduAmerican and @SuhagAShukla get the Downfall treatment over the Seattle ordinance. 🤣🤭

Told y'all! 😁😁

The more @HinduAmerican @SuhagAShukla types raise a stink over this for what is in my opinion a fundraising scam, the more jurisdictions will start EXPLICITLY recognizing caste as a protected category.

North America isn't South Asia.

And as I said before, it's cos these sanghi bigots, even those with law degrees, seem to have a fundamental blind spot about how the civil rights act and protected categories work. Historically, only bigots oppose them.

Very much a "twig in the beard of thief" scenario.

A ranty Unkil online is like "Seattle is a remote socialist dump anyway that no one cares about nor invests in."

Kya mast insult mara re! One day if Seattle is run your way, maybe Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks will invest something there? 🤔🤔
Also a lot of "how will they determine or prove caste was a factor how how how" questions that they think are rhetorical winning ones but have simple replies.

It's up to the accuser & lawyer. And judge & jury. 🤷🏽

Life mein not even one US courtroom drama you haven't seen?
Underlying a lot of sanghi hate against the Seattle ordinance is the baseline inquisitional justice they take for granted. The seem to think this means you just accuse someone of caste discrimination and then get a big check the next day and the accused goes to jail instantly.

Just a reminder that the #SeattleVote just did what the Indian Constitution (Articles 15 & 17) already do.

So anyone opposing the bill as anti Hindu or anti India is calling the constitution of India as anti Hindu or anti India.

Pic 1: Constitution of India
Pics 2 & 3: What the #SeattleVote did. Just added caste where you see.

What exactly is anti India or anti Hindu?

Send this tweet to savarna Hindus who whine about the ordinance.

Ask them if they are opposed to the Indian constitution itself. ImageImageImage
It's innocuous if you fundamentally oppose systemic discrimination. Then it's just one word added, just one more category.

It *IS* substantial given
a. The industry & social influence of Seattle
b. The "memetics" inherent in grassroots US politics.
