The survey was distributed via social media in March 2020 and received 561 responses from US #neurologists in practice. While 87% were provided #PPE by their institutions, 45% were asked to reuse PPE more than once.
Practices to limit #COVID19 exposure and advice on #selfquarantine varied widely. 43% of #neurologists with known exposure were advised to continue seeing patients unless/until symptomatic, and only 12% were offered immediate testing.

40-something married professional white guy had been doing all the right things during #coronavirus . He lives with his wife who, as a cancer survivor, had a compromised immune system and his elderly mother in law. They'd been in #selfquarantine for months just to be safe
Somehow he contracted #coronavirus . Must've been on a rare trip to the grocery or drug store. He didn't go anywhere else. It got bad quickly, breathing difficulties put him on a ventilator. He managed to survive #Covid_19 but in many ways that's where the real challenge starts

A: When an individual tests positive for #COVID, staff reach out to identify their close contacts/public spaces they may have visited while contagious.

2) You might be at home for a while, so try and form a routine. Eating at the same time, sleeping at the same time etc. Routine lends a sense of purpose to slower days.

3) Try and do your chores yourself. Do ask your help to refrain from commuting and do ensure they get paid for the days they stay at home.

It was incredibly sad. We tried to maintain our social distance, but we’re a family so some people hugged. I tried to be logical with my food choices, but it felt so overwhelming because of feels, plus most was perishable food /2
I made sure to get things I knew I’d eat: a lot of bread, some cheese, pasta, pickles, butter, eggs. I did take some smoked salmon, as well as some chicken & bacon to freeze, but left the Impossible patties, whole fishes, & duck for others /3

Essentially the world learned their lesson two-fold when people inundated the shops hitting hard at toilet paper and cleaning supplies. What we're trying not to do to the hospitals we did to each other anyway with #hoarding #TPShortage2020 #panicshopping.
You are a foolish person if you don't have a child and began hoarding baby wipes. I hope you realize that many of those brands are gentle for babies. Meaning they *are not* going to kill the viruses you're afraid of.
