June is #SeniorsMonth, a time to recognize & celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of older adults in #HamOnt. This year, it is particularly important to stay connected virtually & support seniors in our community. Take some time to reach out with seniors in your life.
One way for older adults to stay connected is through the Senior Centre without Walls program. This program provides free recreational activities over the phone with a group of older adults in the community. More information and registration: hamilton.ca/scww.
This year’s Senior of the Year Awards event has been postponed indefinitely, however we still want to celebrate the important contributions of seniors in our community. Senior’s Award recipients will be named in the coming months. Details to follow. hamilton.ca/city-awards/se….
