A gothic, science horror fiction which has the content to send chill down your spines and leave your mouth gaping. Victor Frankenstein, an incredibly ambitious scientist strives to conquer death, retrieve life scientifically and what usually happens when someone meddles Image
with life and death? Obviously, more deaths and destruction. All hells break loose when Victor's monster starts demanding more and taking revenge. Still, the monster is more symbolically every unloved, alienated, hated and isolated soul longing for love and acceptance. Image
The recurring situations force the monster to become more monstrous and you've got to see the rest of the story for the profound message it has to convey. A dark story yet one which shows where the light is present, that is within our hearts & our ability to love.

The shows no one recommend you about sometimes turn out best or atleast something that touches you. I choose most shows out of instinct and "Beauty and the Beast" is a latest one like that. Not a re-telling of the classic legend but has similarities which resemble it. Image
A human experiment went awry and how it ruins lives for generations, haunting Vincent Keller, Catherine Chandler and how their destinies are intertwined promises an interesting watch though the plot is predictable at times, dialogues are so explicit leaving no room for subtlety Image
tires one as the story goes when the characters are as desparate as audience to end the show. It started out as super sensible turning annoying in the middle but still got back on a mature track. Image

Movies which has action till the last minute are the ones deserve to be called action movies. And MI movies leave you expecting action till the credits roll out. Interesting plots intensified with a super performing cast. Tom Cruise surprises with more but never gives less. Image
With each next film I thought, so this is the best one of the series only to be spellbound by the next movie till I saw Mission Impossible: Fallout and obviously it's the best in so many aspects. ImageImage
It's more loaded in every way - action, emotion, betrayal & what not? Moreover it shows who Ethan Hunt as a human and who he is an IMF agent to the fullest extent with stunning frames. Still, I have a feeling for Mission Impossible II. Whatever happened to Nyah?

Life story of Chris McCandless, a young adventurer who learns life through his travel, nature and literature. The journey from outrageous rebellion to a quest of truth to the ultimate wisdom is the actual life of Chris. His short life has some profound insight πŸŽ¬πŸ‘Œ
#ShineyReviews Image
The original family of Chris has shared all the flaws and imperfections of family which helped to form the flashback of Chris. So they had actually suffered the loss of Chris but even then they chose to give him the honour he deserved by allowing the film to speak about their Image
family issues too. The exotic scenes shot in the deep woods are something to watch. All songs featured in the film are unique and touching 🎢🎼. Highly recommended. Image

The visible brutality and verbal vulgarity of the movie is sickening but what makes it worse is most of it was irrelevant for the story. The thriller element is forced and lacks coherence. Whenever a knot is made it should be untied at some place. There are some logical flaws out Image
of many from the entire film is as follows.

1. Why is the protagonist named Rythm when there's no significance for it?

2. Why Rythm starts issuing search bulletins after her child went missing for a year whereas Anjana's mother starts issuing on day 2?
3. What was the relevance of the photos of Gautham given to Rythm?

4. Why wasn't the doctor's motive behind his psychotic behaviour explained?

5. Why Rythm never uses the invention for instant communication at times of trouble? ( Yeah I meant mobile phone)

Thappad means slap and just as it's title suggests, the entire story begins with a slap. A happily convenient marriage on the surface falls apart after the husband slaps his wife. Initially the idea that her husband could slap her shocks the most. Soon after she realises it's not Image
the slap that hurts more but the indifference shown later by her husband like nothing has happened. The reaction of her in-laws and even her own family except for her father makes her question her entire life. How easily a woman is taken for granted is shown very practically. Image
Every woman shown in the movie liberates in their own way - a widow finally finding closure, a poor servant fighting back her husband, eventually hitting him back is an astonishing sight indeed after being hit for all those years, a successful lawyer who finally leaves her Image

Much justice has been done to the show, starting right from it's name - "Dark". The entire plot is shadowed and you get a glimpse of every character which makes it really difficult to understand their nature, characteristics, intentions and motives in the beginning. When we move Image
along the story, endless questions arise as the plot continuously shifts between various dimensions of time, parallel realities, alternate worlds simultaneously switching between past, present and future making it the most intricate show ever. The screenplay of dark is Image
a masterpiece of complication which puzzles and leaves you marveled at the same time. Deeply symbolical and allegorical, the story will remain a riddle, atleast with some of it's parts. You've got to be patient and attentive but it'll be worth to see the ending.

I started watching Joey series after I felt I haven't got enough of Joey in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Then, Joey lasted only 2 seasons, so I began with Man With a Plan and @Matt_LeBlanc has grown undeniably charming with his silver fox looks and all. Within few episodes I got hooked to the Image
content. The period of life which is not usually shown in movies & TV shows : 15th year of marriage with three children. The challenges faced in their relationship, endless debates on parenting and occasional yet consistent discussions about feminism & the responsibility of a man Image
is the plot which is carried out with lots of spontaneous humour which will make you roll with laughter. @StacyKeach1 punishing Teddy was utterly hilarious. A meaningful family drama which was prevented from being deliberately didactic with a generous dose of comedy. Image

Often the villains we throw stones at turn out be victims of misunderstanding/character assassination unintentionally at times but mostly stuck irrevocably in a power system of injustice. People who view it from outside obviously become victims of ignorance not knowing the truth. Image
And also the basic societal mindset of how easy it's to believe that a woman would've done something horrible but how difficult it gets to prove that something horrible has happened to that woman is shown with ultimate clarity. Casting couldn't be more appropriate as everyone Image
from Jyotika to Akshara Kishore did much justice to their roles. Imo Jyotika has really took her acting to the right, required level which never once appeared over the top. Akshara, from playing the innocent kid to expressing traumatic situations has given an amazing performance. Image

This is the first Kannada movie I watched & as the story went I kept appreciating within how they had covered the girl's emotions without overdoing it. And then right after Rohit reappears I felt everything the opposite way as it all turned out to be ironical in the end. Image
Dia obsessed over Rohit but then he came back when she's finally got over him & is love with another guy. Adi gave perfect advice for her all along but then went anyway despite his mom's word. Dia once again took a risk & ran after Adi only to watch him die before her eyes. Image
It was Dia who suffered for a beloved's death when he wasn't died because of her dad's lie. She took the trouble to trust another guy. Had to confront her inner dilemma having to choose between the two & when she finally has 1 clear choice, well that man killed himself. Image

How a mismatched dabbawalla service leads to a lunchbox romance (platonic) through letter correspondence between a doomed housewife who is facing the cold indifference of her husband & a widowed lonely workaholic who uses rigidity as his defence mechanism. Image
The wife doesn't even want to rectify the mistake occurred because this appreciation of an unknown stranger means more to her than her husband who just takes everything for granted. Their sharing, idea exchanges, complications and practical reality is shown with artful eyes. Image
The subplot between Saajan & Shaik added more depth to the story. What started out as a opposite poles growing into a meaningful friendship, the journey was amazingly drawn. Irfan, Nawazuddin & Nimrat Kaur just stole the show. Image

A bloody, brutal psycho movie which makes you feel like you're trapped into the never moving hour of gloom. Initially it opened like it will discuss a lot about what makes people psycho & their characteristics in detail but then it just pondered on rescuing the one woman. Image
There are also unanswered questions till the end. The teacher punished him & crossed lines so he imprisoned her but why particularly he chooses women who excel in their fields to be his target? Why he removes their head & why he display the corpse that way?
Those motives are not explained at all. And how exactly can Gautam know the smell of a pig in the first place to compare it with actual pig smell? In course of the film the disabilities of both Gautam & Kamala were emphasized without focusing on their strengths.

This show is legen..wait-for-it.. dary.
A journey of a loving couple from college, A man who is hilarious, seizes every moment & wants to live life to the fullest & a man who will do anything for love but never seems to meet the right person. How their lives change in time? ImageImage
An amazing story made more special because of the intricate narration. This is one of the stories that I don't want to change even a scene or dialogue. No alternate theories, no different suggestions for ending.
The thrill, fun, suspense never faded till end & it all made sense at last.
Every little detail, touch & reference was handled so well. It's entertainment, fun, relationship advice, life lesson etc....Totally worth watching & get something to cherish forever 😍❀️.

The perspective of anyone can become your friend as well as enemy was carried out well but the whole backstory covering the school girl's murder wasn't made clear. It seemed like justifying male violence & the solution is women involving in violence which is totally a wrong idea. Image
Another big mistake with movies like #Seeru are the directors are confused whether to go on with the main story or infuse commercial elements here & there which makes place to irrelevant scenes.
If all that effort was put on important content, the quality of the film will be better & be appreciated by a wide audience.
