MahaSwamigal used to be delighted if any devotee brought Kondrai Poo (Cassia Fistula flowers) when they came to see Him, the reason being it was the favourite flower of Lord Shiva. One day a devotee came to see Him bringing with
him a basket full of that Kondrai Poo. He looked at that basket for one full minute and asked, "What else did you bring in that basket?"
"Only Kondrai Poo".
"No, you have not only brought the flower but also an ornament for Lord Shiva!” He said.
Nobody understood what Swamigal
was referring to. He asked the devotee to take the basket some distance away and to empty its contents in a bamboo plate. Suddenly a snake came out of the basket and slithered away!
Filled with excitement the devotee told Him what had happened. Swamigal smiled at him and said,

The Internet has become an active source of false and manipulated content. You must be aware of the knowledge you seek. Many people have misunderstood the real meaning of linga in ‘Shiva Linga.’ The western world has compared linga to a sex organ many times. But, the word linga ImageImage
consists of a deeper meaning. The word ‘linga’ in Sanskrit means symbol (chinha). Moreover, the Agama text explains by breaking the literal meaning into two primary pieces where ‘ling’ means to dissolve or destroy whereas ‘ga’ means to emerge or create. The intended meaning is
that we all are creations of Lord Shiva (universe), and at the end, we all dissolve back into him. Thus, Shiva Linga marks the cosmos of our universe. Now, you know the real meaning of Shiva Linga. Further, you must be wondering what does the linga symbolizes. To answer this part

Generally, February is regarded as a great month for love. No doubt western culture has a major effect on our youngster’s mind today. But in reality, the month of February holds an altogether a different meaning in our life.
Its actually the month of devotion. Its the month for offering prayers and connecting to higher energies. Its the month to meditate on the name of ‘formless’. Its the month to seek blessings of ultimate truth in this world.

It’s the month to connect with divine energy of SHIVA!

Take a "backup" child

On this auspicious occasion of #Shivratri, I was thinking of Him & Parvati.

They have two children--Ganesh & Subramanya--and I think that everyone should emulate Them.

Many people seem to prefer to have just one child, which isn't right fm #Jyotish angle.
A friend saw both her younger brother & father die. This indicates affliction of 7H in mother's chart.

If 7H is afflicted, you shouldn't have second child.

But if 7H is unafflicted, you should have two children.

What if you don't take backup?

Let's see in the next few tweets.
I know a nice person who has built a large temple (temple=9H; land=4H).

He lives in a palatial house opposite the temple (4H=residence).

4H hurts 5H bcoz it is 12th (loss) fm 5H. His only child is no more.

Sad to see such people who build temples suffer, but karma is so cruel.

Thread on energising Rudrakshas coming up. Possibly might be able to do a workshop coming Sunday or a video to illustrate.
👇🏻
First place Rudraksha/ Rudrakshas on a red cloth in front of you in a clean place which will not be disturbed till Shivaratri.
#Shivratri #RudrakshaDiksha
Now, make sure you have articles for Panch upchara puja with you:
1. Kumkum
2. Akshata (whole Basmati rice mixed with Turmeric)
3. Dhoop/Agarbatti
4. Deepak with ghee
5. Naivedya in form of small whole supari or milk.

#Shivratri #RudrakshaDiksha
In this first method there is no abhisheka done on the Rudraksha/s although that is also possible.

This method, you sit down and do a panch upchara puja to the Rudraksha/s facing East. Use a yellow/red coloured asana.

Siva Sutra 1.3 Yonivargah kalasariram
"The universe is the product of the energy of illusion & its classes, direct/indirect- responsible for the rise of one's body & own individual world".
That is to say, when one is limited in action/knowledge-that is called yonivarga. (1/4)
Kalasarira is the embodiment of actions. Every action impacts your knowledge, mind & thoughts leaving an impression. Kala means being bound to a particular time, space and form.

Earlier We concluded that the word Caitanya means the complete freedom of universal consciousness...
Because of the impurity (anavamala), which is limited action/knowledge, Caitanya is lost & absorbed in attachments of objects. This along w the limited ego unites with sense organs & 3 Gunas (tendencies-sattva/rajas/tamas), results in 'Universal I' perceived as 'individual I'...
