It's architecture thread time! This time on Libyan seats of power and governance through the ages. Let's get into it:
The Parliament Hall in #Baida, seat of the first parliament in the MENA region, was constructed in 1964. Unlike other colonial buildings, its design is simple but powerful, reflecting a new political era. It was renovated in 2014 for use by the Constitution Drafting Assembly. 
Before the unification of Libya, the Cyrenaica Parliament governed the Eastern province and operated out of this building in #Benghazi, also known as Palazzo Littorio and designed by Carlo Rossini in 1923. It was partially destroyed in WWII and eventually brought down.

Das Ganze an sich wäre nicht mal ein Problem, denn missglückte Tests passieren immer wieder.
Dafür sind sie auch da.
ABER.
Die LNA veröffentlichte peinlichen Fotoausschnitt (s.unten), als ob es den Unfall nicht gab.
Und dann kam das Video...
Kurzum, ein PR-Desaster für LNA.

Das Ganze könnte größeren Schaden anrichten, als nur medialen Spott.
LNA warnte lange Zeit vor Angriff auf #Sirte mit der Begründung, man könne Anti-Schiffsraketen gegen türk.Flotte starten.
Nun, anscheinend nicht.
Türk.Bereitschaft, Sirte anzugreifen, könnte also steigen.

Update #Libya :
Das libysche Repräsentantenhaus (Parlament im Osten des Landes) hat Ägypten offiziell erlaubt, in den Konflikt einzugreifen.
Ägypt.Armee bekomme das Recht, in Libyen zu intervenieren,wenn es "eine unmittelbare Bedrohung für die Sicherheit beider Länder gibt"

Gemeint ist natürlich die Bedrohung durch die türkische Intervention. Nun ist die Frage, wie es weitergeht.
Ankara erklärte zuvor, ein Waffenstillstand sei nur möglich, wenn die Haftar-Truppen aus Sirte abziehen.
Ankara will die Stadt haben.
Die LNA will sie halten.

Um #Sirte zu verteidigen, hat die LNA neues Militärgerät vor allem aus den Emiraten und Ägypten bekommen.
Zuletzt entsandte aber auch Damaskus immer mehr Militärtechnik in das Land.
Die Konkurrenz zwischen Damaskus und Ankara wird somit mittlerweile außerhalb Syriens geführt.

78 years ago, a child was born in a port city of the Mediterranean Sea, Sirte, located in the south of Libyan capital, Tripoli. (1/15)

Macron erklärte, dass:
- Türkei gefährliches Spiel in Libyen spielt,
- Franz.Reaktion gegen Türkei hart sein werde,
- Ägypt. Initiative berechtigt sei,
- Türk.Agieren wieder beweise, dass NATO "hirntot" sei.

Auch Syrien erklärte, dass Libyen zum Opfer der türkischen Aggression wurde. Damaskus unterstützt den ägypt.Vorstoß.
Auf der anderen Seite melden sich nun auch die USA.
Eine Delegation der US-AFRICOM kam in West-Libyen an, um mit der Sarradsch-Regierung zu verhandeln.

#BREAKING: #GNA is falsely claiming that #Libya National Army has retreated from #Sirte & Al-Jufra. This is total lie. Few hours ago, these troops from 128th Infantry Battalion of #LNA based in Al-Jufra were deployed to #Sirte & they are now confronting #GNA's Islamist militias.
In 1988, #Libya gov ordered 12 Su-24MK strike bombers for #Libya Arab Air Force.Just 6 of them were delivered in 1989 & the rest were remained undelivered in #SovietUnion.They later entered in service of 239th TsPAT of #Russia Air Force in #Kubinka & remained in service till 1996
