#Social_Cure researchers @UQPsych were asked to come up with some evidence-based tips to help people stay socially connected while physically distanced due to #Covid_19. Here are six that we came up with. Please share and add your own.

1. Connect virtually and connect often. Physical distancing need not mean social distancing and technology is key to this. The best technologies are those where you share a lot of information, involve more than two people, and connect in real time

2. Connect with groups. Research shows that group-based connections can be especially protective in times of uncertainty and challenge. So don’t just use tech to connect 1-on-1, connect virtually with family groups, your yoga group, book club, etc.
