Nel corso dell'ultima settimana l'attività eruttiva del vulcano La #Soufrière è ulteriormente diminuita sia d'intensità che di frequenza. Le esplosioni maggiori stanno ora avvenendo ad intervalli sempre più lunghi, l'ultima nello specifico è avvenuta venerdì scorso. 
Grazie a questi importantissimi miglioramenti, sono tantissime le persone che nel corso degli ultimi giorni hanno lavorato quasi ventiquattro ore al giorno per cercare di ripulire il più possibile le strade, i canali e i tetti degli edifici della zona rossa e della zona arancione
Purtroppo però, anche se queste operazioni richiederanno mesi e mesi di lavori continui, proprio tra ieri e oggi l'isola sta vivendo un'altra situazione di emergenza molto seria.

Authorities have issued a warning for the region, impacting over 100,000 people, as the current eruption is assessed by scientists. Officials warned on Tuesday of heavy gas emissions, the creation of a new volcanic dome and improvements to the La Soufriere volcano's crater lake.
The warning level was increased to an orange today, with indications that the volcano could erupt within a day and urge people to evacuate. The decision to raise the level of alarm comes as it began to spew ash and a new volcanic dome was created.
