Many people ask me, why i enjoy living alone so much? Why should one be scared of emptiness, and why shouldn't?

One is scared of emptiness” is a fact.

#SpiritualSunday
#spirituality Image
“One shouldn't be scared of emptiness” is the transcendence of fear.

One is scared because one is scared of the unknown - the unknown feels like death.
#SpiritualSunday
#spirituality Image
One can transcend death by moving into the unknown - moving into the abyss.

Once you move into unknown - the joyride begins and you find freefall is such a joy.

If Hindus believe in reincarnation of fixed earthly souls, how can they explain the human population explosion in the last 100 years?
#Cosmos
#SpiritualSunday Image
To understand the Hindu world view you need to learn something about science & cosmology. The Cosmos in which we live consists of 100 billion galaxies. There is a metaphor of Vishnu lying upon the cosmic ocean & from each of his pores galaxies constantly emerge.
#Cosmos Image
Cosmologists estimate that there are over a million planets like earth in this vast Universe within the same distance from their Sun with all the requirements and conditions for life.

As there is no purpose, no meaning, no goal, no separation, nothing to attain or lose, everything is mystery and unknowable in non-duality as described by many non-dual teachers/speakers, how non-duality is similar/different to/from nihilism?
#SpiritualSunday
#Spirituality Image
Nihilism is the rational conclusion of the mind regarding the existence as it perceives.

This nihilism is still short of one important step.
#SpiritualSunday
#Spirituality Image
does not speak anything about the mind that concludes this nihilism.

If it says that this mind is also vanity, then the perception of vanity by vanity would have no value of truth. It is like words written in water.

What exactly happens after enlightenment, Moksha, Nirvana or whatever it is. Do I become nothing, alone, nowhere, just consciousness? I don't know.
#SpiritualSunday
#Enlightenment Image
Such questions are ‘child’s fantasy’ because:

What are “your” chances of ‘attaining enlightenment?’ (Virtually none.) So why do we ask? Just for idle curiosity?
The question is being asked by ego-mind for a mentally-understandable explanation.
#SpiritualSunday
#Enlightenment Image
Egos & minds can never ‘get enlightened’ & the explanation is ineffable.
The question presumes that ‘enlightenment’ is an ‘event’ (What “happens?) that takes place in ‘time’ (“after”) that immediately forces some radical change (“becoming nothing or nowhere.”).

How is it that the world doesn't exist? I just don't get it.
#SpiritualSunday
#spiritualawakening Image
Yes, it’s impossible because the thing you’re using to try and ‘get it’ is your mind, which is quite certain it and everything else is ‘real.’
#SpiritualSunday
#spiritualawakening Image
The best analogy is your night dreams. While in them, an entire world appears, and the dream-you is usually certain this hallucinatory dream world is totally real. Then you wake up in the morning and go, “Oh, that was just a dream!”

How is Tantra different from Veda, especially when it emerged in India parallel to Veda?

Here is a summary chart of the differences between Veda (nigama) and Tantra /āgama

ĀGAMA & TANTRA

The Āgama and the Tantra are two branches of the same heterodox system.

The voluminous texts of the tradition deal with a number of subjects, broadly speaking numbers 1 — 7 = Tantra and 1 — 21 = Agama.

So technically an Agama is more expansive than a Tantra but sometimes these names are used interchangeably.

What is required for enlightenment/self-realization?

Self-realization is identifying with awareness, not the personal self.

Awareness is what fundamentally or really exists.
#Spirituality #spiritualsunday
It’s inevitable that we’ll notice this now and again, because the truth can’t be hidden completely.

What’s required is accepting it.

We can do this gradually or suddenly.

Eventually, delusion will seem less credible.
#Spirituality #spiritualsunday
But we can certainly hang on to it & keep believing odd things.

For example, when I’m falling asleep, I think I’m sinking into darkness.

Basically, I imagine I’m “falling” into sleep.
