Before I start, I will say I am hoping for the best, even if it is a start of much stronger restrictions so we can beat COVID-19 here in Ontario. I fully support shutting down non-essential stores, even stores like cell phone kiosks don't need to be open.
I thought the announcement was at 2:30 initially, then got pushed back to 3:30 pm, and now 4:00 pm, yet we are now at 4:10 pm with it not starting yet.

A #StayAtHomeOrder order might not violate the #FirstAmendment #righttofreeexercise of #religion, or it might. Candidly, the answer to the question of whether it does so depends entirely on the contents and stated motivation of the Order.
Since the #SCOTUS decided #EmploymentDivisionvSmith, it has been a constitutional truism that #neutrallaws of #generalapplicability can, as an incident of their nature and scope, tread on religious exercises without violating the Free Exercise Clause.
So, for example, a city might adopt a zoning ordinance, and create an #R1district defined as residential single-family dwellings only.

I went back to March 3rd (when we hit 100) cases, and tracked growth rate for every day since then. The range from 3/3 through 3/23 was 1.21x to 1.51x, with an average of 1.34x.

Yesterday, 3/24, we saw a daily reported positive test growth rate of 1.19x, the lowest we've had. That's good. We now have 55.2k known positive tests as of this morning.

Our new adjusted average since 3/3 is now 1.33x. Meaning, on average, we're growing in known positive test cases by 33% per day.

At some point, the US will have to start relaxing some restrictions in a targeted way, but doing so will require the large-scale deployment of testing, community screening, and contact tracing. None of these are up and running yet in the US 2/
